1. This competition is open to individuals aged 18 years or over, except employees of Telegraph Media Group Limited or anyone else professionally associated with the competition.
2. Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
3. Copyright in all entries submitted for this competition remains with the respective entrants. By entering this competition you are granting Telegraph Media Group Limited permission to publish your entry (describing your favourite location) online and in paper. Entrants will not receive remittance for such publication, though their work will be credited. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that their entry does not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. Other entrants will have the opportunity to comment on your selection. You can submit as many locations as you like but you can only enter the competition once.
4. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of despatch will not be accepted as proof of receipt. 5. All entries must be received by 23:59 (GMT) on Sunday, September 25, 2011.
6. The winner will be informed by October 3, 2011. The winner will be required to confirm acceptance of their prize by December 3, 2011. In the event of the winner not providing such confirmation or should the winner not be contactable, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.
8. The prize as described is available on the date of publication.
9. The prize is for one week’s free accommodation for two at Combe House Devon’s cottage, near Exeter, UK. The prize includes two return flights with British Airways up to a total value of £1,000; bed and breakfast on each day; and complimentary dinner with canapés on one evening of the winner’s choice.
10. The prize does not include food and drink, travel insurance, transport to and from the hotel, personal expenditure and other incidental costs other than those stated. It is the responsibility of the prize-winners to ensure they have valid passports and travel insurance and obtain any necessary vaccinations and visas for their trip.
11. The prize must be taken and all travel completed by June 30, 2012 excluding December 23, 2011 to January 2, 2012 (inclusive), February 14, April 4 to April 10, (inclusive), May 4 to May 7 (inclusive) and June 1 to June 5, 2012 (inclusive). All prizes are non transferable and no cash alternative is available.
12. The winner may be required to participate in publicity.
13. Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the as a result thereof.
14. The Telegraph is responsible for publication and adjudication of the prize draw. Provision of the flights is the responsibility of British Airways. All other facilities connected with the provision of the prize are the responsibility of Combe House Devon.
